Welcome to Grower Freeman

We are a law firm based in Marylebone, Central London.

We provide personalised legal solutions for individuals and companies in the UK and abroad. We have been providing expert advice to individuals, small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as larger companies for over 25 years.

All our lawyers have a wealth of experience and are specialists in their respective fields. Our principal areas of expertise are in commercial and residential property, dispute resolution, private client, probate and commercial work. We have a close network of affiliates in the United Kingdom as well as across Europe, the United States, India and China.

Grower Freeman was founded by Edmund Grower in 1991. He was joined in 1994 by Michael Freeman who prior to that date had his own practice for many years.

For more than 25 years our firm has focused on property work, dispute resolution, private client, employment, and sports law.

Our reputation continued to grow and in the mid-nineties we acted for the footballer, Hans Segers, in the famous match-fixing trial, which we successfully defended.

We also represented over 3,000 individual Lloyd’s Names in the UK as well as a number of international jurisdictions in relation to the fallout from the Lloyd’s of London debacle of the 1990s, which eventually resulted in that institution having to offer terms of renewal and reconstruction for many of those members who had suffered losses.

More recently, we have developed expertise in private client work, as well as maintaining our focus on commercial and residential property and dispute resolution.
