Be ScamSmart

In my capacity as the COFA (Compliance Officer for Finance and Administration) for this practice I have received a warning card from the Financial Conduct Authority regarding scams in relation to investment products. You may have seen this, but in the event that you have not, you should be aware of the increasing danger of fraud in relation to share and other potential investments.

Similarly, if you receive any notice by way of letter or email purporting to change those instructions which you may have received from this Firm with regard to the transfer of funds, please speak to the fee earner concerned immediately, especially so in the event that there is any change from the original instructions which you may have received from us in respect of any such transfers.
